How our Guaranteed Route to Job Placement works

In plain English: when you finish your Course2Career career programme and pass your exams, our in-house Recruitment Team works with you until you secure a relevant role. There is no time limit and no extra charge.

It is not a promise of a particular job, employer, start date or salary, because employers make the final decision. What we guarantee is that we keep working with you for as long as you keep to your side of the agreement.

The route

From your first course to your first role

The guarantee starts the moment you finish your training. Here is what happens, in order.

  1. 1

    Train

Work through the courses in your career programme online, with tutor support and practical labs.

  2. 2

    Pass

Score 75% or more in our internal assessments and pass the certification exams included in your programme.

  3. 3

    Recruitment Team

Your Recruitment Advisor builds your CV and LinkedIn with you, coaches you for interviews and puts you forward for roles.

  4. 4

    Start work

Most learners start a relevant role 6 to 12 weeks after finishing. If it takes longer, we keep going.

Both sides of the agreement

What we do, and what we ask of you

Employers hire people who show up and follow through. The guarantee works the same way: we commit to you, and you commit to the search.

What our Recruitment Team does

  • Review and improve your CV so it is ready for entry-level roles in your field
  • Help you build a LinkedIn profile that recruiters can find
  • Coach you for interviews, including mock interviews with feedback
  • Find suitable roles and put you forward for them
  • Check in with you every week while you are searching
  • Keep going until you secure a relevant role, with no time limit and no extra charge

What we ask of you

  • Work with your Recruitment Advisor and reply to their messages
  • Attend the calls and interviews they arrange
  • Apply for the reasonable roles they put forward, and for suitable roles you find yourself
  • Send your job tracker to the Recruitment Team each week
  • Consider roles within 30 miles or 90 minutes of home, or remote roles
  • Accept reasonable offers at a normal entry-level salary for your field
  • Keep your payments up to date and have the right to work in the UK

If life gets in the way

Tell your Recruitment Advisor. If you cannot meet one of the requirements for a while, our commitment simply picks up again from the point you can.

Questions

Your questions answered

What is the Guaranteed Route to Job Placement?

It is our commitment to keep working with you, through our in-house Recruitment Team, until you secure a relevant role. It comes with every Course2Career career programme, it has no time limit and there is no extra charge for it.

Is it a guaranteed job?

No, and we would rather be clear about that. We cannot promise a specific job, employer, start date or salary, because employers make the final hiring decision. What we guarantee is that we will not stop working with you while you keep to your side of the agreement.

When does it start?

As soon as you have finished the courses in your programme, scored at least 75% in our internal assessments and passed the certification exams included in your programme.

How long does it usually take to get a job?

Most of our learners start work between 6 and 12 weeks after finishing their programme. If it takes longer, we keep going. There is no cut-off date.

What kind of job will I get?

Entry-level roles that match your programme. Cyber security learners usually start as SOC analysts, IT support learners as IT support technicians or service desk analysts, project management learners as project administrators, project support officers or project coordinators, data learners as junior data analysts, and network learners as junior network engineers or network support technicians.

What do I need to do?

Work with your Recruitment Advisor, attend the calls and interviews they arrange, apply for the reasonable roles they put forward, send your weekly job tracker, consider roles within 30 miles or 90 minutes of home (or remote roles), accept reasonable entry-level offers and keep your payments up to date. You also need the right to work in the UK.

What if something in my life gets in the way?

Tell your Recruitment Advisor. If you cannot meet one of the requirements for a while, we pause, and our commitment picks up again from the point you can meet them.

Does it cost anything extra?

No. Recruitment support and the Guaranteed Route to Job Placement are included in the price of every career programme, with no time limit.
